Would you prefer a small phone that would fit in your pocket easily? Well, Apple is planning to launch an iPhone SE 2020, which would just match your taste! iPhone SE 2020 would-be low-cost Apple’s phone with much of the latest technology. This new product will have few latest iPhones specifications including the blazing fast A13 Bionic chipset but the design is comparable to the iPhone 8 and few less features than the iPhone 11 Series.

Design:
The metal frame of the iPhone SE 2020 is made up of aluminum and glass. Which is different from its predecessor as the metal frame of iPhone 11 Series was made from the anodized aluminum. But the design of iPhone SE 2020 does look “Dated”. This iPhone SE 2 would be available in three colors i.e. white, black and product red.
Camera:
With the price of starting just at $399, iPhone SE 2 has a 12 MP rear camera with f1.8 while the front camera has 7MP of resolution with 2.2f. Apple has also claimed that with these lenses and a fastest yet A13 Bionic chipset, it will support 4K (30 fps) video recording. It gives 5x digital zoom but optical zoom will not be available in it with next-gen Smart HDR for the best dynamic range. Portrait pictures will have the portrait lighting option will be available but the “bokeh effect” in the background will be software generated as it lacks a proper depth sensor but still manages to take some astonishing clicks.
Safety:
iPhone SE 2 has been certified as IP67 dust and water resistance. IP67 resistance means it has the capability of surviving the 1m depth of water for 30 minutes. So, you would not have to worry about if your iPhone SE 2020 falls accidentally into shallow water or usage in the shower!
Processor:
This is where all the “tech” has been used from the top notch 11 Series. Apple’s most powerful chipset, yet. So, you can use your iPhone SE 2, apps and games, with amazing speed much similar to the latest product series provides, unlike the experience, which remains to be tested. Though the RAM capacity has yet not been disclosed by Apple but rumors are that it would be carrying a 3GB RAM with 64 GB ROM as the base model.
Display and Storage Capacity:
iPhone SE 2020 will feature a LCD Retina-HD display of 4.7″ compared to iPhone 11 which has a Liquid Retina HD display of 6.1″. However, 4.7-inch would be quite a fit in your pocket but do comes with a huge forehead and chin, similar to iPhone 8. Display on it would provide you the resolution of 1,334 x 750 pixels as this much of resolution was also available in iPhone 8 which has been discontinued. The “Major” drawback on this model according to me.
Storage options that can be chosen are from 64 GB, 128 GB, and 256 GB. 64GB would be available in $399 after that amount will increase to acquire iPhone with more GB’s accordingly.
Battery and Charging:
iPhone SE 2020 will be powered with 1,821mAh battery as advertised by Apple. It will also support 18W fast charging that will be able to charge first 50% in 30 minutes, but remained to be tested. It will also support wireless charging through a built-in coil (Qi-based). It should work with any 5W or 7.5W Qi-based wireless charger.
Biometric Recognition:
The new iPhone SE 2020 brings back Touch ID recognition as biometric recognition in the home button but it lacks the feature of face ID recognition which is available in later series that got popular.
The Dual Sim+eSim support will be seen with the latest LTE antennas for the best 4G connection with Wifi 6 will let you have a taste the latest tech. More features are auto white balance, noise reduction (multi-band), flicker detect sensor etc.
Price of iPhone SE 2020 in Pakistan:
Right away, you can order he base model in just $399 or £419. This is the starting price of the new product i.e. you can buy the 64 GB iPhone SE 2020 in the mentioned amount. You can pre-order the iPhone SE 2020 from 17th April 17, 2020. While Apple will start shipping the iPhone SE 2020 from 24th April. The price of iPhone SE 2 in Pakistan should be around PKR 80,000 including the taxes and the dollar inflation.
Most of the features that are available in iPhone 11 are not present in the iPhone SE 2020. But the price is also almost half of the iPhone XI. iPhone SE 2020 certainly sounds like a winner in papers amongst cheapest and amazing products launched this year with a budget phone with a beast chipset but the design will take people to chance for is it just enough to put some latest tech in an old fashioned way?
