The new OPPO F21 Pro comes in two color options: Sunset Orange and Cosmic Black, each with its own color combinations and textures to provide customers a variety of ways to express themselves, something to everyone. To assure color authenticity and durability, OPPO put the leather material through a series of stress tests using rubbing alcohol, rubber erasers, and denim swatches. The redesigned leather and fiberglass structure results in a back cover that is sleeker, and more integrated without compromising performance or durability. A lychee grain leather material is manufactured utilizing a 6-step coating and baking process before being merged onto the phone’s back panel to generate the Fiberglass-Leather look. The Fiberglass incorporates the vegan leather and resin into a single comprehensive piece of material that suits the phone’s shape. OPPO further enhanced the vegan leather material with a new processing technology: industry’s first integrated fiberglass leather molding process through heat and pressure. The thickness of the leatherette cover is reduced from 0.8mm to 0.6mm without compromising the ability to withstand harsh conditions.
The OPPO F21 Pro, like the Fiberglass-Leather design, has a brand-new design aspect that has never been seen before in the series. The splicing camera module design is embellished with a two-tone visual and texture appearance generated by attaching a glass layer to the metal base, inspired by the leather and metal designs of historic film cameras. The heavy use of metal on the rear camera module adds texture to the F21 Pro and gives it a more premium appearance.
The two-tone material design creates a dramatic contrast between the primary camera area and the Depth Camera section, making the camera module visually compelling in multiple ways. The rose gold middle frame provides a sleek and minimalistic outlook to the phone while the seamless connection between the back cover and the middle frame gives it an artistic flair.
The flat-edged middle frame and smooth edges of the F21 Pro’s ultra-slim retro design make the phone easy to hold, gives a sleek appearance and a seamless experience.
The addition of ‘Orbit Light’ on the outer ring of the Microlens is another innovative feature added to the phone’s camera module. For various reasons, the inclusion of the Orbit Light is a stroke of genius. The first is its incorporation within the camera module’s limited size construction. The ‘Orbit Light’ can also be utilized as a fill light, kicking in automatically when the Microlens is used to capture close-up objects. The light illuminates areas where the camera blocks ambient light, ensuring that photos are always evenly lit.
