Xiaomi Mi Tv Stick is not currently for sale but it appears on an online store Gearbest. There, we can get the first look of the product with its sleek form factors and the key specs that will boost the device.
Xiaomi Mi Tv Stick surprisingly has the same specs that we witness on Xiaomi Mi Box S launched last year. That means the device is powered by Amlogic S905-Y2 quad-core processor with ARM Mali-G31graphics and has 2GB of RAM and 8GB of emMC storage. The specs are basic but it is expected the Mi Tv Stick will perform as well as the Mi Box S performed with the same specs, which was pretty good. The details also show that there is support for Google Assistant which clearly indicates that this is an Android Tv, a Netflix support which is a Must-Have for Android TV and will also support 4K HDR.
It is not clear when the Mi Tv Stick will be available for sale and whats the actual price of the device is but another page on Garbest shows $80 price which is 20% off. If this price is true then surprisingly, the Mi Tv Stick costs more than the Mi Tv Box S which costs around $59 when launched last year.
Interestingly, the product appears online after a month of leaked product map which revealed the product’s name and availability. Considering the leaks, the product launch is around the corner but there is no official confirmation from Xiaomi.
