Xiaomi Mi Band 5 rumors were in the news for the last few months and Xiaomi confirmed that the next generation of its wearable device will debut in China on June 11.
Mi Band 5 will launch in a launch event along with the Xiaomi’s product lineup for the forthcoming 618 sale event, China’s mid-year shopping festival.
Some features of the forthcoming fitness tracker leaked online. The fitness tracker will feature support camera control which is probably be used for capturing images and videos via smartphones.

The forthcoming fitness tracker, build by Huami, will be built around a 1.2-inch AMOLED display with additional support for the new watch design. It will feature a blood oxygen saturation sensor, running, cycling, skipping, swimming tracking sensor with new Yoga, indoor cycling, and 11 different tracking modes.
Additional features include NFC for users outside China, Google Play support for global users along with Alexa voice assistant support. For the users in China, it will offer XiaoAI smart assistant Xiaomi develops for the domestic market. There is a single button at the bottom of the screen as shown in the leaks and it is assumed that the leak designed ends up to be true.
However, all the above-mentioned features are based on the previous leaks and Xiaomi is yet to disclose more information about the upcoming fitness tracker. We look forward Xiaomi to disclose more information relating to Mi Band 5 with a teaser poster or video before the launch event.
Do note that Mi Band fitness tracker is an important lineup for Xiaomi as these fitness trackers helped Xiaomi to become a global leader in the fitness tracker. More than 100 million Mi Band fitness tracker has been shipped globally in the past six years as reported by IDC.
