Google is planning to launch new hardware this summer, including a new device for streaming media which would be a successor to Google Chromecast. The rumours for this new streaming device were surfacing over the internet since March, and now more information appears about this device revealed over the internet.

The new device will debut with the Android TV operating system and will replace Google Chromecast. Named as Google Sabrina, this forthcoming device is an Android TV dongle.
The device looks like a pebble and is taller than the previously launched Google Chromecast. The leaked images show there is a “G” branding in the centre which indicates Google logo and will be available in three colours – Black, White, and Pink.
The upcoming device will also feature a remote control, and the leaked images show it is similar to Daydream view. Along with ring-shaped navigation, there are six buttons on the top which indicates, Back, Assistant, Home, Star/Favourite, Play/Pause, and Volume Mute.
The new information leaked online shows that it has an Android TV interface based on content. Some rumours are also indicating that Android TV will be named as Google TV when the device will be made available for sale.
The forthcoming Android Device will feature Amlogic chipset and will feature support for Dolby Audio. Some rumors are suggesting that this Android TV device will launch under Google’s Nest product line while the retail name of this device is still unclear.

The software home screen has a top bar which includes search options on the top left along with For You, Movies, Tv, Live, Apps, and My Library as shown in the leaked images. This user interface looks like the current interface on the play store on Android TV.
