Motorolla is gearing up to take on the budget segment in the U.S. by announcing two new budget-friendly devices, Moto G Fast and Moto E (2020).
Starting at $200, Moto G Fast will include Snapdragon 665v SoC along with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of expandable storage. It boasts a 6.4-inch Max Vision IPS LCD with a resolution of 720*1560 pixels and an aspect ratio of 19:9. It has a 4000 mAh battery that supports 10W charging via USB-C.

On the rare side, there is a triple camera setup 16MP f/1.7 primary lens, 8MP ultrawide lens, and a 2MP macro lens. All these camera lenses are borrowed from Moto G8 power except the 8MP telephoto lens.
There is an 8MP front camera for the selfies houses in a punch-hole cutout on the left of the screen.
Additional features include a fingerprint scanner for extra security on the rare side, a 3.5mm headphone jack for wired audio output, and it supports IP52 for dust and rain resistance.
Moto G Fast will be available for sale in the U.S. market on June 12 via Amazon, Walmart, B&H, and Bestbuy in a price tag of $200.
The other announcement from Motorola is Moto E (2020). This brings a 6.2-inch IPS LCD with a resolution of 7201520 pixels with Snapdragon 632 SoC along with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of expandable storage via MicroSD card. The battery is on a lower side compared to Moto G Fast with 3550 mAh that charges via MicroUSB.
There are dual 13MP and 2MP cameras along with a fingerprint scanner on the rare side.
Both the Motorola G Fast and Motorola E (2020) runs on a stock android 10, the Motorola promises Android 11 for the Moto G Fast, and no such announcement was made for the Moto E (2020).
The Moto E (2020) supports IPx2, i.e., splash resistant and no dust resistant and will be available for sale at $150 in the U.S. through Motorola’s retailers and telecom operators, i.e., T-Mobile, Boost Mobile, U.S. Cellular, Xfinity Mobile, Republic Wireless and Verizon Prepaid.
