Visionox, A china based display manufacturer has been working on the under-display camera for a quite long time. Now the reports have come that Visionox has shipped OLED displays costing $500 million or 3.5 billion yuan to Chinese smartphone makers Huawei and Xiaomi since July 2019. With these reports, it is presumed that smartphones with under-display cameras are around the corner and maybe launched anytime soon.
The reports further state that out of 3.5 billion yuan, 2.5 billion yuan worth of OLED panels shipped to Huawei, and 1 billion Yuan worth of panels to Xiaomi. Visionox also commented on the reports that the company has entered into the supply chain phase of these OLED displays. These displays will be shipped to both Chinese and overseas customers in multiple batches and the details of delivery kept confidential.
Visionox is a big name in the industry of displays manufacturing as its displays are being used by smartphone giants like Xiaomi, Oppo, and various others previously. Earlier last month Visionox also started the mass production of OLED panels with in-displays cameras after finding the solution. These displays will be shipped to the number of brands and will be available for the consumers soon.
Moreover, Back in June this year Visionox revealed the first OLED display with the new technology of in-display cameras. Few rumors suggesting that Huawei will be the first manufacturer to launch a smartphone with an in-display camera. Older reports suggest that maybe the forthcoming mate series flagship but the newer reports decline the rumors. The device with the in-display camera is a new device from the Huawei other than mate or P-series. However, it is too early to tell about the device but we will let you knew about this stay tuned,
